Plaintiff’s Litigation Paralegal

Philadelphia Office – Saltz Mongeluzzi Bendesky

Saltz Mongeluzzi Bendesky is seeking an experienced and motivated Plaintiff’s Litigation Paralegal to join our Philadelphia office. This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with trial attorneys on complex catastrophic injury cases in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Report directly to trial attorneys and provide case support from intake through litigation
  • Draft correspondence, pleadings, discovery requests/responses, and motions
  • Manage and track discovery deadlines and oversee production
  • Maintain extensive communication with clients and medical providers
  • Manage both pre-litigation and active litigation case files
  • Review, analyze, and organize case materials
  • Compile, review, and summarize medical records
  • Research and resolve governmental liens (e.g., Medicare, Medicaid, tax liens)
  • Communicate with defense counsel as needed
  • Analyze and calculate wage loss claims
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree required
  • 5–6 years of experience in catastrophic injury civil litigation (plaintiff-side preferred)
  • Strong organizational, time management, and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Demonstrated compassion and professionalism when working with clients
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently
  • Strong computer proficiency; experience with case management software required
  • Familiarity with FileVine and Microsoft 365 preferred
  • Team-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach
