A highly regarded civil litigation firm in Los Angeles is hiring immediately for an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join its growing team. We’re seeking a paralegal with 5–7 years of experience in a high-volume civil litigation setting who brings urgency, sound judgment, and a strong sense of ownership to the work, and who wants to contribute as part of a team that values excellence, momentum, and collaboration.
What You’ll Do
- Manage key components of the litigation lifecycle from intake through resolution
- Draft and revise discovery, motions, mediation briefs, and other case materials
- Prepare filings and ensure compliance with California court procedures and deadlines
- Build and maintain case files, timelines, and supporting documentation
- Coordinate with clients, experts, and third parties as needed
- Support trial preparation, including exhibit organization and pre-trial filings
- Keep cases moving by tracking deadlines, surfacing risks, and anticipating next steps
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of California civil litigation experience (employment law is a plus)
- Strong drafting skills across discovery, motions, and litigation documents
- Ability to operate independently and contribute from day one
- High attention to detail with strong organizational discipline
- Clear communicator with good judgment and follow-through
- Comfortable managing multiple cases in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree and paralegal certificate preferred
- Prior experience in remote or distributed teams is a plus
