Eclipse Strategy Group is a third-party recruitment partner working with a growing law firm that is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to support and expand its litigation team. This opportunity is well suited for a motivated professional who wants to take initiative and grow within a supportive environment.


"We are seeking a skilled paralegal who can manage a diverse caseload of complex personal injury litigation matters. In this role, you will operate with a high level of discretion and ownership while handling approximately 20 to 30 litigation cases from intake through resolution."


Schedule Full time, Non exempt, Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM


Key Responsibilities:


  • Manage a high volume personal injury caseload from intake through trial.
  • Ensure accurate calendaring document drafting discovery coordination court filings medical record management and clear client communication.
  • Serve as a key litigation partner to attorneys experts and team members while maintaining organization compliance and forward case movement.
  • Act as the central point of coordination for all case activity.
  • Track court deadlines hearings depositions mediations and trial dates.
  • Draft review and file legal documents including pleadings motions subpoenas discovery responses affidavits and correspondence in compliance with state and federal rules including electronic filing requirements.
  • Oversee the collection organization and summarization of medical records and billing to support litigation strategy and damages analysis.
  • Maintain professional communication with clients opposing counsel courts experts and vendors.
  • Coordinate discovery depositions and expert scheduling and payment.
  • Prepare attorneys for depositions hearings mediations and trial by assembling case notebooks exhibits witness lists and supporting materials.
  • Attend proceedings when needed.
  • Conduct ongoing file review to ensure accuracy completeness and readiness.
  • Track court dockets manage service of process and support team efficiency through collaboration and training.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.


Required Skills and Abilities

  • Experience with complex litigation including state and federal procedures such as personal injury medical malpractice or commercial litigation
  • Strong communication skills with a focus on client service
  • Proficiency with eCourts legal software research databases and case management systems
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision


Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Paralegal Studies or related field NC Paralegal Certificate required NC Notary or willingness to obtain
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience as a paralegal in a personal injury law firm or similar setting
  • In depth understanding of litigation processes discovery procedures and court filing systems
