Our client, a distinguished mid-sized law firm, is seeking a Senior Litigation Paralegal to join their impressive and collaborative team! This role will provide advanced litigation support to attorneys in all phases of complex civil litigation, and will serve as a key resource on procedural rules, court requirements, and best practices, and may mentor junior paralegals.

Location: Midtown NYC

Hybrid: 3 days on-site, 2 days remote

Compensation: $125-145k base salary + discretionary bonus and competitive benefits

*Candidates should have strong trial experience

Responsibilities:

Assist attorneys with all facets of case management: document productions, preparing for and attending depositions, conducting extensive legal and factual research as well as, participation in case teams for mediations, arbitrations and trials. This includes preparing case chronologies, exhibits, and evidence, and managing post-trial procedures.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree required
8+ years’ experience in the litigation field, preferably in a mid-to-large sized firm.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, the Pacer ECF system, and the NYS Court Filings System
Strong proofreading and research skills
Excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to multi-task, handle urgent projects and tight deadlines and be willing to travel for out of state work
