Role Description This is a full-time Litigation Paralegal role. The Litigation Paralegal will support attorneys in all phases of intellectual property litigation, including case management, factual investigation, discovery, and trial preparation. Daily responsibilities include preparing, formatting, and organizing legal documents; managing and reviewing large volumes of case documents; and assisting with filings in federal and other relevant courts. The role involves conducting legal and factual research, cite-checking, and supporting the drafting of pleadings, motions, and briefs. The Litigation Paralegal will also coordinate deadlines, maintain case calendars, communicate with clients and vendors, and support attorneys with hearings, depositions, and trial logistics.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Legal Document Preparation, including drafting, formatting, and organizing complex IP litigation materials.
  • Experience with Document Review, including managing discovery, organizing evidence, and maintaining document databases.
  • Proficiency in Legal Research using online and traditional tools to support patent and other IP litigation matters.
  • Hands-on experience preparing and managing Pleadings and Motions in federal and related courts.
  • Paralegal certificate or equivalent legal training; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Prior litigation paralegal experience, ideally in intellectual property or patent litigation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and strong organizational abilities.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple deadlines, and collaborating closely with attorneys and staff.
  • Proficiency with litigation support software, e-filing systems, and standard office productivity tools.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
