Litigation Paralegal


Location: Downtown Los Angeles, CA

Salary Range and Benefits: $100,000 - $130,000 per year along with Paid Time Off, Paid Sick Time and Holidays, Healthcare, Dental and Vision Coverage, 401(k)

Position Type: Direct Hire, Hybrid (2 days onsite after probation period), Full-Time


LHH is working with a large national law firm in seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join their team in Downtown Los Angeles. This position requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in business litigation. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience. The role involves managing all aspects of the litigation process, including filing procedures in both state and federal courts.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist attorneys in all phases of litigation, from initial pleadings through trial and appeal.
  • Manage discovery processes, including document review and production.
  • Independently handle court filings and adhere to filing deadlines in both state and federal courts.
  • Draft and prepare legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings.
  • Conduct legal research and gather relevant information and documents.
  • Maintain and organize case files and legal documents.
  • Communicate with clients, witnesses, and experts.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in general civil litigation.
  • Paralegal certification required
  • Proficiency in eDiscovery tools and processes is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of state and federal court filing procedures.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
