A well‑established law firm in Charleston, South Carolina is seeking an experienced Insurance Defense Paralegal to join its team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of insurance defense litigation experience and be comfortable working in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Issuing subpoenas
• Scheduling depositions and mediations
• Analyzing medical records
• Drafting medical chronologies
• Preparing discovery requests
• Communicating with experts
• Interacting with insured clients and insurance adjusters
• Assisting with trial preparation
• Heavy scheduling and case management

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of insurance defense litigation paralegal experience
• Highly organized, motivated, and detail‑oriented
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
