A respected Houston‑based law firm is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys in substantive litigation work, document analysis, discovery, and trial preparation. What you’ll be doing
• Indexing, organizing, and analyzing legal and factual documents
• Drafting initial versions of pleadings, discovery responses, and filings
• Issuing subpoenas and assisting with background research
• Coordinating document productions and managing case materials
• Assisting with witness preparation and attending depositions as needed
• Supporting trial preparation and assisting attorneys during trial
• Preparing deposition summaries and legal research using Westlaw
• Communicating with clients, courts, experts, and counsel professionally
What they’re looking for
• 3+ years of experience as a paralegal or legal secretary in a litigation environment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage competing priorities and exercise sound judgment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable working independently under attorney supervision
