LHH is seeking an experienced Business Litigation Paralegal to join a client’s team in Charlotte, NC. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a key role within a collaborative, fast-paced litigation environment, providing direct, hands-on support across a diverse and complex range of matters.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review legal documents, including correspondence, pleadings, discovery materials, and employment-related filings
- Serve as a point of contact for clients, witnesses, courts, and expert partners
- Organize, analyze, and summarize discovery, including depositions and personnel records
- Assist with all phases of trial preparation, including exhibits, witness coordination, and electronic presentations
- Manage e-discovery platforms, document productions, and maintain electronic case files
- File documents in both federal and state courts in compliance with applicable rules
- Provide additional litigation and employment law support to attorneys as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with 3–5 years of paralegal experience in litigation, ideally within business litigation and/or employment law
- Familiarity with timekeeping and billing software
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with e-discovery tools and electronic court filing systems
- Prior exposure to trial preparation or complex case management is strongly preferred
- Excellent organizational, writing, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively under tight deadlines
