Temporary Litigation Legal Assistant

A boutique Intellectual Property litigation law firm is seeking a tech-savvy, detail-oriented Legal Assistant to support a high-stakes litigation practice. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with a collaborative, sharp, and pun-loving team handling complex and sophisticated matters.
Assignment Details
• Pay: $36/hour
• Duration: 8 months
• Hours: Full-time with occasional overtime as needed
Key Responsibilities
• Assist with drafting and preparing litigation documents including motions, declarations, exhibits, discovery materials, and outbound correspondence
• Support complex case management with impeccable organization of highly confidential and technical information
• Coordinate closely with attorneys to conduct legal and factual research using public databases and legal software
• Assist attorneys in preparation for hearings, depositions, and trial
Qualifications
• At least one year of legal assistant or law firm experience
• Comfortable learning and using new technology platforms
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Experience with Google Apps preferred
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
• Flexibility to work more than 40 hours per week when required
