We are partnering with a highly respected Orlando-based law firm to identify a Litigation Legal Assistant to support a busy defense litigation team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking for a long-term, stable position with strong team support.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage heavy calendaring, scheduling, and deadline tracking across multiple attorneys
• Prepare, format, and revise pleadings, correspondence, and legal documents
• Coordinate depositions, hearings, mediations, and inspections
• Handle state and federal e-filing with accuracy and attention to deadlines
• Open new matters and assist with conflict checks
• Maintain and organize case files in both electronic and paper formats
• Assist with billing tasks including invoices, reimbursements, and pre-bill review
• Communicate professionally with attorneys, clients, opposing counsel, and vendors

Qualifications

• 3+ years of litigation legal assistant experience, with a focus in defense litigation
• Strong knowledge of state and federal court procedures and filing requirements
• Experience with document management systems (iManage preferred)

• Team-oriented with a proactive, solutions-driven mindset

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $65,000 – $72,000, depending on experience
