I am actively working with a highly reputable national litigation firm, who is looking to hire multiple Litigation Attorney(s) to join its growing group. This is an excellent opportunity to work with sophisticated clients, while benefiting from a collaborative and flexible firm culture.


The Role

This position offers the opportunity to work on a diverse litigation docket alongside experienced trial lawyers, handling matters from inception through resolution. Associates are given direct client exposure and are encouraged to take ownership of their cases.

Representative responsibilities include:

  • Defending clients in state and federal court litigation
  • Drafting pleadings, dispositive motions, discovery, and legal memoranda
  • Taking and defending depositions
  • Appearing at hearings, mediations, and arbitrations
  • Working directly with clients, experts, and opposing counsel
  • Assisting with trial preparation and appellate matters, as applicable


Profile

  • JD from an accredited law school.
  • Active Illinois Bar admission (or ability to waive in).
  • 4+ years of litigation experience.
  • Excellent academic credentials and strong drafting skills.
