Our AmLaw 100 client is seeking an Associate to join its Litigation Group in their New York office. This role offers exposure to sophisticated, high-value complex and commercial disputes within a collaborative, high-performing litigation practice.
Responsibilities:
- Handle all aspects of general commercial litigation matters
- Draft and respond to pleadings, motions, and discovery
- Conduct and defend depositions, including expert depositions
- Appear in New York State and federal courts on complex matters
- Support matters involving real estate and finance disputes (preferred exposure)
Qualifications:
- JD and admission to the New York Bar
- 5–7 years of commercial litigation experience
- Strong experience in New York State and federal court practice
- Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills
- Experience in large law firm environment strongly preferred
