Litigation Associate

Construction Litigation Associate – Hybrid

Location: Los Angeles, California, United States

Responsibilities:

• Manage trial preparation and courtroom practice, including primary file responsibility, motion practice, and depositions
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
• Provide strong advocacy, negotiation, and client representation in construction litigation matters
• Collaborate with internal teams to support case strategy and ensure thorough case preparation
• Handle matters involving construction, engineering, or architecture, including insurance defense where applicable
• Maintain organized case files and track deadlines to ensure timely legal actions

Requirements:

• 4–6 years of experience in construction litigation (defense) only
• Hands-on experience with trial preparation and courtroom practice
• Strong advocacy, legal research, writing, and negotiation skills
• Experience with matters involving construction, engineering, or architecture preferred
• Strong academic record from an ABA-accredited law school
• Actively licensed to practice law in California
• Stable resume with minimal contract, temporary, or freelance experience
• Minimum salary expectations must be included with application
