Position Summary:

The NMLS Licensing Assistant provides administrative support for individual Loan Officer licensing through the Nationwide Multistate Licensing System (NMLS). This entry-level position supports Loan Officers throughout the licensing process, ensuring applications, renewals, and required documentation are submitted accurately and on time.

This role is ideal for someone highly organized, detail-oriented, and interested in building a career in mortgage compliance and licensing.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Loan Officers with submitting and maintaining individual licenses through the Nationwide Multistate Licensing System (NMLS)
  • Track license application progress and follow up on outstanding items
  • Monitor renewal deadlines and continuing education requirements for Loan Officers
  • Communicate with Loan Officers regarding licensing requirements, deficiencies, and next steps
  • Maintain accurate internal records of licensing status and documentation
  • Provide onboarding support for newly hired Loan Officers regarding licensing requirements
