Schedule: Full time | Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

How you'll make an impact in this role

  • Deliver collaborative, high-quality clinical care alongside RNs and physicians to execute personalized patient treatment plans.

  • Monitor patient well-being and perform diagnostic tests to ensure the medical team has the data needed for accurate, timely interventions.

  • Administer medications and treatments with a focus on safety, vigilantly observing patient responses to ensure comfort and recovery.

  • Empower patients and families through clear education on self-care and holistic health, ensuring a smooth transition from home.

What minimum qualifications you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing required.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
    • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

What additional requirements you'll need

  • Clinical Specialization: Demonstrated expertise in Gastrointestinal care, with focused proficiency in managing complex Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) and Hepatology patient populations.

  • Administrative & Medication Oversight: Streamlines patient access to care by expertly navigating the prior authorization process and overseeing comprehensive medication management protocols.
