Responsible for providing support for one or more persons. Frequently interacts with front desk staff. May perform diagnostic testing, maintain supply inventory levels, and clean/maintain medical equipmentRequired Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Required Skills: Skill in nursing practices associated with the delivery of quality nursing practices and duties assigned to this role. Ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously with frequent interruptions in a fast-paced environment. Computer literacy and familiarity with operations of basic office equipment. Must be able to communicate effectively with a wide range of people. Ability to work in a team environment.Preferred Skills: Experience with Athena, Meditech, and/or other electronic health records software, as well as Microsoft Word and Excel preferred. Required Licensure/Registration/Certification: Current Texas Licensure as a Licensed Vocational NursePreferred Licensure/Registration/Certification: Current BLSRequired Experience: Possess the knowledge to assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care under the direction of the Provider and supervisory staff.Preferred Experience: 1 year experience in an outpatient or inpatient setting.
