Job Title : Licensed Practical Nurse
Location : Atlanta, GA, 30342
Shift : Day shift - 8A-4:30P, Mon - Fri
Contract : 12 weeks with high possibility of extension
Guaranteed Hours : 40/week
Pay : $36/hour
JOB DUTIES :
- Perform patient assessments, obtain medical histories, and document symptoms related to urological conditions.
- Assist physicians with urology procedures, examinations, catheter insertions, and diagnostic testing.
- Administer prescribed medications, injections, and treatments while monitoring patient responses.
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative nursing care, including patient education and discharge instructions.
- Educate patients on urinary health, catheter care, treatment plans, medications, and disease management.
- Maintain accurate EMR documentation, monitor vital signs, and report changes in patient condition to providers.
- Coordinate care with physicians, specialists, laboratories, and healthcare team members to ensure quality patient outcomes.
