Trustpoint.One has an immediate opening for a Legal Operations Specialist with a corporate legal department for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This hybrid role is based in Philadelphia and plays a key part in supporting litigation operations, financial reporting, and settlement processes. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and outside counsel to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across legal and financial workflows.


Location: Philadelphia, PA (Hybrid - 3 days onsite per week)

Schedule: Full-Time


Key Responsibilities

Litigation Support

  • Prepare and review quarterly and annual litigation reports, including accrual forecasts (asbestos matters included)
  • Coordinate with outside counsel to gather case updates, budgets, and projections
  • Assist in developing and maintaining litigation budgets and forecasting tools

Financial Reporting & Systems

  • Administer Legal Tracker, including invoice processing, approvals, and vendor onboarding
  • Ensure compliance with billing guidelines and internal policies
  • Manage accruals and monitor budgets against allocations
  • Coordinate tax-related matters and ensure accurate invoice coding within SAP and Legal Tracker
  • Perform daily quality control checks between Legal Tracker and SAP, resolving discrepancies

Settlement Processing

  • Prepare and process settlement payments in coordination with claims adjusters and treasury
  • Draft, submit, and track settlement check requests, ensuring proper approvals and documentation
  • Partner with accounts payable, insurance teams, and outside counsel to manage payment timelines
  • Track settlement reimbursements and confirm payments
  • Follow established SOPs for settlement processing and invoice creation

Operational Support

  • Provide helpdesk support to internal legal teams and external vendors using Legal Tracker
  • Assist with vendor setup in SAP and assignment within Legal Tracker
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve system and workflow issues


Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in legal operations, litigation support, or legal finance
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with Legal Tracker, SAP, or similar e-billing/financial systems
  • Strong understanding of litigation processes, accruals, and budgeting
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally

  • Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing and document handling
