Job Title: Trusts & Estates Administrative Assistant

Location: Princeton, NJ (Full-Time, On-Site)

Overview:

A well-established and highly regarded law firm in Princeton, NJ is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Assistant to support its Trusts & Estates practice. This is a full-time, on-site role offering the opportunity to work closely with attorneys on sophisticated estate planning and administration matters in a collaborative, professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to attorneys within the Trusts & Estates group
  • Prepare, format, and proofread estate planning documents (wills, trusts, powers of attorney, etc.)
  • Assist with trust and estate administration, including organizing client files and tracking key deadlines
  • Manage attorney calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate client communications
  • Handle client intake, correspondence, and general inquiries with professionalism and discretion
  • Maintain and organize physical and electronic files
  • Assist with billing, time entry, and expense tracking as needed
  • Liaise with clients, courts, and financial institutions when appropriate

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of administrative experience within a law firm, with exposure to Trusts & Estates strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with estate planning documents and terminology
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel); experience with legal software is a plus
  • High level of professionalism and ability to handle confidential information
