Law firm in Nassau County seeks a Legal Administrative Assistant to join their firm. Must have at least 1 year of experience working in a legal setting/law firm and at least 6 months of litigation experience. Strong administrative & tech skills are required!


Hybrid 4 days on-site, 1 day remote after training

Salary range: 60k - 75k base + OT

Hours: 9am - 5pm


Responsibilities:

  • Support three attorneys with administrative tasks and litigation-related duties.
  • Prepare and manage legal documents, including contracts and case files.
  • Coordinate schedules, meetings, and client communications.
  • Handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with legal procedures and deadlines.
  • Utilize software tools like Word, PowerPoint, and Excel for document management.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless workflow and task completion.
  • Provide exceptional client service and maintain a professional demeanor.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a legal administrative position.
  • At least 6 months to 1 year of litigation experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and systems.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Capability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Motivated self-starter with excellent organizational skills.
