Title: Lease Analyst
Location: Denver, Colorado
Position: On site contract
Pay Rate: $40.00-50.00
Overview:
Seeking an experienced Lease Analyst to support land administration activities within a growing upstream oil & gas organization. This individual will be responsible for maintaining lease records, analyzing ownership interests, tracking contractual obligations, and ensuring accurate land data within company systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze and maintain oil & gas leases, contracts, agreements, and ownership records.
Calculate and validate Working Interest (WI), Net Revenue Interest (NRI), and Division of Interest (DOI).
Track lease obligations, expirations, drilling commitments, and contract deadlines.
Support acquisition, divestiture, and due diligence projects.
Coordinate with Landmen, Legal, Revenue Accounting, and Operations teams.
Maintain accurate land records within Quorum, P2, Peloton, or similar land systems.
Assist with title review, ownership analysis, and curative efforts.
Preferred Qualifications:
3+ years of Lease Analysis or Land Administration experience within the oil & gas industry.
Strong understanding of lease agreements, title documents, DOI calculations, and ownership analysis.
Experience with Quorum Land, P2 Land, Peloton LandView, or similar platforms.
Advanced Excel skills.
Permian, DJ Basin, or Eagle Ford experience preferred.

A self-sufficient Lease Analyst who can quickly integrate into the team, manage a high volume of lease and ownership work, and provide immediate support for ongoing land administration initiatives.
