We are seeking a hands-on Mechanical Engineer to lead and support the installation, start-up, and debugging of high-speed manufacturing equipment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working on the floor, solving real-time problems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring equipment into full production.
Key Responsibilities:-
- Lead mechanical installation, start-up, and debugging of manufacturing equipment
- Work closely with engineering, controls, operations, and vendors to ensure smooth execution
- Apply mechanical principles including hydraulics, thermodynamics, machine design, and metallurgy
- Provide hands-on troubleshooting and problem-solving during installation and commissioning
- Coordinate mechanical and electrical trades to meet project timelines
- Verify equipment build and installation against engineering drawings and specifications
- Support equipment testing, qualification, and production readiness
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to resolve technical and installation issues
- Ensure adherence to safety standards (OSHA, ANSI, ASME) and safe work practices
- Update and maintain technical documentation, drawings, and installation records
What We’re Looking For:-
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in equipment installation, start-up, and debugging in a manufacturing environment
- Proven experience leading installation activities, scheduling, and team coordination
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and industrial equipment
- Experience managing internal teams and external contractors/vendors
- Proficiency in CAD tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
