Lead Audio Visual Technician

Must Haves:

  • 10+ years of experience installing and supporting commercial Audio Visual and low-voltage systems in environments such as corporate offices, public sector, and large commercial buildings
  • 5+ years of experience leading small AV installation teams, providing on-site direction, mentoring junior technicians, and ensuring quality installations
  • Proven experience installing permanent AV systems, including displays, audio systems, racks, structured cabling, and associated infrastructure
  • Strong ability to coordinate with Project Managers, General Contractors, subcontractors, and end clients to meet project timelines and expectations
  • Hands-on experience troubleshooting AV systems and resolving technical issues in the field
  • Demonstrated commitment to job-site safety standards and procedures

Plusses:

  • CTS and/or CTS-I
  • If not currently obtained willing to obtain both within 2-3 years of employment

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Responsible for running an AV project crew and will assume responsibility for effective performance and provide necessary training.
  • Responsible for adhering to the company’s and client’s safety guidelines.
  • Coordinates with the project manager to ensure productivity, job completion, and compliance with budget.
  • Serves are the main on-site customer contact for questions and/or concerns.
  • Performs work consistently demonstrating a detailed level of technical knowledge and being able to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise.
