• Shift: Monday – Friday, standard lab hours (early morning start possible)
• Pay Range: $15 -17/hr

A leading environmental testing laboratory is seeking a Lab Technician to support daily operations within a fast-paced lab environment. This role is focused on assisting analysts and ensuring smooth workflow execution through sample preparation, organization, and basic analytical support tasks. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable working in a structured lab setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Label and organize sample tubes for testing workflows
• Prepare sample batches and maintain accurate tracking documentation
• Store and manage samples in designated storage areas
• Assist with reagent preparation and general sample prep activities
• Perform basic analytical support tasks under supervision
• Conduct routine temperature checks and document results
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of lab spaces
• Support analysts to ensure efficient processing of samples
• Follow all safety and compliance protocols within the lab

Required Skills

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field OR high school diploma with prior lab experience
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and standard operating procedures
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Willingness to work in a support-focused, team-oriented environment
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities

Plusses

• Previous experience working in a pharmaceutical or regulated lab environment
• Exposure to environmental testing processes or laboratory workflows
• Familiarity with basic lab equipment and sample handling procedures
