Laboratory Technician

Title: “Corrosion Testing Specialist / Chemical Lab Technician”

Location: Jackson, MI 49201

Duration: 12 Months Contract

Shift: M-F: 8 AM to 4: 30 PM

Max Pay: $25/hr.

Overview:

Entry-level lab role focused on corrosion and physical testing. Ideal for candidates with a bachelor’s in science (Chemistry preferred) and 0–3 years of experience.

Responsibilities:

• Perform physical & wet chemistry testing (titration, pH, conductivity, etc.)
• Prepare test plans and document results
• Maintain lab equipment, calibration, and records
• Ensure clean, organized lab environment
• Support quality testing, troubleshooting, and improvement initiatives

Requirements:

Bachelor's in science preferred

• Entry Level position Do not submit anyone with Masters or PHD, they will be overqualified.
• 0–3 years of lab experience (college or work)
• Knowledge of basic chemistry, analytical instruments, and ISO standards
• Strong MS Office, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently & manage time effectively
