Labor and Delivery Nurse

Position: L&D / Mother-Baby RN (LDRP)

Shift: Nights – 3x12 (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week

Contract Duration: 13 Week

Weekly Gross: $2401

Breakdown:

W2: $32.1/hr

Perdiem: $1246/wk

Unit & Facility Details:

• 15-bed LDRP unit (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum)

• 3 triage bays + 2 operating rooms

• Patient Population: Neonates, Infants, Adolescents, Adults

• RNs cover:

• Antepartum
• Labor & Delivery
• OR Circulating & Scrub
• Newborn care at delivery
• Couplet care
• • Additional Duties: Lab draws & newborn hearing screens (training provided – Algo 5 machine)
• • Charting System: Epic

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience

• Must have experience in:

• OB
• Labor & Delivery
• Mother-Baby
• • Skills Required:
• Circulating
• Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) / Triage
• • Preferred: Scrub experience

Certifications:

Required:

• BLS (AHA)

• ACLS (AHA)

• NRP

• AWHONN Intermediate or NCC C-EFM

Preferred:

• AWHONN Advanced

Schedule & Policies:

• Every other weekend required

• No call required

• Floating:

• Within unit as needed
• May float to nearby facility (27 miles)
• • Will float as sitter when required
