Kitchen Staff / Line Cook (Part-Time to Full-Time Opportunity)

Scoops Ice Cream & Grille is hiring Kitchen Staff / Line Cooks to join our fast-paced, high-volume kitchen team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with food, staying busy, and being part of a team.

No extensive experience is required—we are willing to train motivated and reliable individuals.

Scoops is a popular, community-focused restaurant in Mountville, PA, known for fresh, made-to-order food, burgers, sandwiches, fried foods, and premium ice cream. We focus on speed, quality, and consistency while maintaining a fun and welcoming environment.

We also operate four food trucks, offering opportunities to gain experience in event catering and high-volume service.

• $14–$18/hour (based on experience)

• 20–40 hours per week
• Day shift: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Evening shift: 2:00 PM – Close or 4:00 PM – Close
• Closing time:
• 9:00 PM (Sunday–Thursday)
• 10:00 PM (Friday–Saturday)

• Prepare and cook food using grill, fryer, and prep stations
• Follow recipes and ensure consistent food quality
• Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked workstation
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards
• Assist with prep work, restocking, and cleaning
• Communicate effectively with team members during service

• Previous experience in a restaurant, fast food, or kitchen environment is a plus, but not required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Reliable, punctual, and responsible
• Basic understanding of food safety practices (ServSafe a plus)
• Ability to stand for long periods and handle a physically active role
