We’re hiring a Key Account Manager and looking for someone who enjoys owning relationships with strategic customers in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role sits at the center of customer care, sales support, and operations and is a great fit for someone who likes to solve problems, communicate clearly, and keep a lot of moving parts organized.
In this position, you’ll be the primary day-to-day contact for a set of key accounts, handling everything from order entry and status updates to coordinating with production, scheduling, engineering, quality, shipping, and sales. You’ll review purchase orders for accuracy, monitor orders from entry through shipment, and proactively communicate with customers about pricing, lead times, shipments, inventory, and product questions. You’ll also help with forecasting, inventory coordination, and customer demand planning while supporting our outside sales team with reports, documentation, and account reviews.
We’re looking for someone with 3+ years of customer service, account management, or sales support experience in a manufacturing or B2B environment, who is comfortable working in ERP/order management systems and Microsoft Office. Strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities across departments are essential, along with a steady, professional approach to handling issues, returns, and escalations. Experience with OEM or industrial customers, production scheduling, logistics, and supporting strategic or national accounts is a plus.
