About Our Client:
Addison Group is hiring Key Account Manager for our client, a long-established, logistics organization. You will work closely with clients to ensure their satisfaction and oversee aspects of their shipments, providing exceptional service to meet client needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and continuously improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to support operational excellence and consistency.
- Lead client onboarding and implementation efforts, ensuring a seamless transition and successful integration of services.
- Oversee day-to-day operational activities, proactively identifying risks, service gaps, and process improvement opportunities.
- Serve as the primary point of coordination across internal stakeholders to drive collaboration and deliver exceptional client experiences.
- Manage spot quote requests, support pricing initiatives, and identify opportunities for account growth and additional service offerings.
- Ensure operational KPIs are achieved, including data accuracy, timeliness, billing performance, and accounts receivable targets.
- Monitor customer activity and performance against committed volumes, taking corrective action as needed to maximize service and profitability.
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of logistics/transportation experience within a front facing, client services space
- High school diploma, associates/bachelors preferrred
- Ability to go onsite fully to the Bensenville, IL area
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
