Junior Digital Engineer

Overview

Supports Contracting Officer’s Representatives (COTRs) and development teams by refining requirements, system designs, and test capabilities to meet mission needs. Applies Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies and tools to improve system lifecycle outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and refining system requirements and design artifacts
• Support MBSE activities under supervision
• Contribute to system models and documentation
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to understand mission needs
• Support test planning and validation activities

Required Qualifications

• Basic understanding of MBSE concepts and systems engineering principles
• Familiarity with at least one framework or language (DoDAF, SysML, or UAF)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a team environment

Desired Qualifications

• Exposure to MBSE tools (e.g., Cameo, MagicDraw, Sparx EA)
• Entry-level SysML or systems engineering coursework
• OCSMP certification (or progress toward it)
