About the Role:
We are seeking a Certified Journeyman Electrician to support the installation, integration, and start-up of prefabricated modular data centers at a manufacturing facility in Red Oak, TX. This role is ideal for electricians with industrial or commercial experience who thrive in a fast-paced, safety-driven environment.
Journeyman certification is a plus and must be verifiable on the state license website.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical installations as part of the modular assembly process.
- Support system integration and commissioning activities.
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical components of industrial equipment.
- Interpret schematics, drawings, and technical documentation accurately.
- Follow all safety procedures and applicable electrical codes.
- Conduct quality inspections and ensure proper documentation (torque sheets, 5S, tool tracking).
- Promote and lead a “Safety First” culture through best practices and compliance.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED (Associate degree or trade school certification preferred).
- Completed apprenticeship program or equivalent journeyman experience.
- Industrial electrical experience preferred; commercial experience accepted.
- Residential experience does not apply.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes and regulations.
- Ability to read and understand schematics.
- OSHA 10 and/or OSHA 30 certification.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work on ladders, bend conduit, and install large cables.
Experience That Gives You an Edge:
- Industrial or commercial electrical background.
- Manufacturing or factory environment experience (huge plus).
- Familiarity with 5S methodology.
