Job Description: The Licensed Journeyman Electrician will work from construction drawings to install branch power, lighting, and distribution systems, troubleshoot electrical problems using appropriate test equipment, conduct on-the-job training for apprentices, and safeguard company equipment and materials. Collaboration with subcontractors and adherence to safety protocols in hazardous environments is essential.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in electrical conduit and wiring installation.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience in construction and industrial environments.
  • Ability to bend conduit and pull wires.
  • Ability to work with blueprints, schematics, and electrical wiring.
  • Completion of a state-approved apprenticeship program.
  • Have or the ability to obtain a Maryland and Delaware Electrical Journeyperson License.
  • Good working knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC).

Work Environment The role involves working 40 hours per week, scheduled in 8 to 10-hour shifts. Personal protective equipment such as hard hats, safety glasses, and protective boots are required, with additional gear provided as needed.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $114400.00/yr.
