⚡ Journeyman Electrician

Build the backbone of tomorrow’s technology

This isn’t just another electrical job — it’s a chance to leave your mark on a world‑class industrial technology campus. We’re looking for a Journeyman Electrician (or highly capable mid‑level apprentice) who takes pride in craftsmanship and wants steady work on a long‑term, high‑profile project using modern electrical and instrumentation systems.

If you love clean conduit runs, well‑organized installs, and working on projects that matter, this role was built for you.

🔧 What You’ll Be Working On

You’ll be part of a skilled team delivering high‑quality electrical and instrumentation & controls (I&C) installations across a massive, state‑of‑the‑art facility.

  • Precision installation, bending, and routing of EMT conduit (1.5” and under) and rigid conduit
  • Creating clean, professional conduit layouts that reflect true journeyman craftsmanship
  • Installing and mounting control panels with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Installing cable tray systems to support organized power and control wiring
  • Pulling, routing, labeling, and managing wire the right way — neat, efficient, and code‑compliant
  • Supporting motor controls, lighting, terminations, and I&C systems
  • Working safely and confidently with standard hand tools on an active industrial site
  • Contributing to a fast‑moving project where your skills are noticed and valued

🧠 What Makes You a Great Fit

You already bring:

  • 5+ years of electrical experience in commercial or industrial construction
  • Journeyman‑level ability or strong mid‑level apprentice experience
  • Solid hands‑on experience bending EMT and rigid conduit
  • Confidence installing cable tray and pulling wire on large projects
  • Familiarity with motor controls, lighting, and electrical terminations
  • The ability to work independently, think ahead, and deliver clean results

Extra credit if you have:

  • Experience with instrumentation & controls (I&C) systems
  • Control panel installation or control wiring experience
  • A strong eye for detail and pride in organized, professional installs
  • A team‑first attitude and reliability on large job sites

🏗 The Work Environment

  • Location: Ocotillo industrial technology campus
  • Schedule: 50 hours/week, Monday–Friday
  • 6:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
  • Easy access via shuttle from designated parking
  • (Early arrival ensures you’re on site and ready by 5:30 a.m.)
  • Large, modern campus — expect steady movement and variety in your workday
  • Active construction environment with hands‑on electrical installation using standard tools
  • Structure still being enclosed, so you’ll experience warmer conditions initially

🚀 Why Electricians Choose This Project

  • Consistent, full‑time hours you can count on
  • A long‑term, high‑visibility industrial project
  • Work with modern electrical and advanced control systems
  • A professional, safety‑driven site that respects skilled trades
  • Experience that strengthens your career and opens doors to future industrial and controls work
  • Pride in knowing you’re helping build infrastructure that supports the next generation of technology
