Role Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT / Depot Technician to support our operations at client site. This hands-on role focuses on device lifecycle management and front-line technical support, ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations for onsite and remote users.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Device Imaging & Deployment
  • Prepare and image laptops using standardized procedures
  • Configure devices for new hires and refresh cycles
  • Maintain accurate records of device assignments and status
  • Inventory Management
  • Track and manage a small inventory of laptops and accessories
  • Coordinate device shipments and returns
  • Perform periodic audits to ensure inventory accuracy
  • Walk-Up Support & Ticket Handling
  • Provide friendly, efficient support for basic IT issues (e.g., password resets, connectivity, peripheral setup)
  • Triage and escalate tickets as needed using the service management platform
  • Maintain a clean, organized walk-up support area
  • Shipping & Logistics
  • Package and ship devices to remote users or other offices
  • Liaise with local couriers and follow up on delivery status

Qualifications:

  • 6–12 months of experience in IT support or desktop services
  • Familiarity with Windows OS imaging tools (e.g., SCCM, Autopilot)
  • Basic troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and network issues
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Customer-focused mindset with clear, professional communication

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira)
  • Knowledge of asset management practices
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment
