THE OPPORTUNITY:

Our client is seeking an Interim Senior Director of Strategy to support a centralized function within a global, multi-entity organization. This individual will partner closely with senior leadership to drive strategic planning, performance insights, and key transformation initiatives across a complex, cross-functional environment. The role is highly visible and operates as an individual contributor, requiring strong ownership and the ability to execute at pace.


This opportunity is well-suited for a candidate who thrives in dynamic settings and can balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution. The ideal candidate will be comfortable synthesizing inputs from multiple stakeholders into clear, actionable insights while supporting high-priority initiatives in a fast-moving environment.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead development of recurring strategic materials, synthesizing inputs across multiple functions to provide clear performance insights and forward-looking recommendations.
  • Support long-range planning efforts, including development of multi-year strategic narratives and business outlooks.
  • Aggregate and analyze performance data across business units, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for leadership review.
  • Partner cross-functionally with finance, operations, marketing, and other internal stakeholders to align on strategic priorities.
  • Support organizational design and transformation initiatives, including modeling future-state structures and cost optimization efforts.
  • Contribute to business integration and consolidation activities, ensuring alignment across teams and functions.
  • Operate as a central coordination point across geographically dispersed teams, managing timelines and deliverables across time zones.
  • Develop operating and organizational models to support improved efficiency and scalability.
  • Leverage technology and automation tools to streamline data aggregation and improve quality of deliverables.
  • Act as a high-touch partner to senior leadership, supporting ongoing strategic decision-making in a fast-paced environment.


REQUIREMENTS:

  • 8–10+ years of experience, with a strong foundation in investment banking, consulting, or corporate strategy.
  • 4–5+ years of experience in strategy, transformation, or corporate development roles.
  • Prior experience within media, entertainment, or a related content-driven industry preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience building executive-level presentations and strategic materials.
  • Experience operating within complex, multi-entity or global organizations.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Proven ability to operate independently and manage multiple priorities in a high-performance environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel; familiarity with AI-enabled tools strongly preferred.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to partner effectively with senior stakeholders.
