Intellectual Property Docketing Paralegal (Patent Prosecution)

RESPONSIBILITIES/REQUIREMENTS

In depth knowledge and understanding of the patent prosecution process

SKILLS

Ability to analyze documents generated from the USPTO and identify critical deadlines

Ability to generate and edit reports in database

Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple projects

Strong attention to detail

Strong organizational skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong interpersonal skills; team player

Microsoft proficiency

Strong technical skills; formal technical training is a plus

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Minimum 3-5 years IP docketing experience, preferably in a law firm, in addition to extensive patent prosecution paralegal experience
