Baptie & Company, an independent organization that specializes in delivering best practice and how-to information to the top 1,000 companies in the IT/Cloud/Telecom industries, is currently recruiting for a dynamic, highly motivated, passionate, and confident sales professional to join our sales team.


The role involves building on our existing relationships with the most senior executives in these industries. We are extremely respected and the majority of those you will be calling value what we do. Your job is to communicate to them the value of our subscription package which includes the most important events/webinars/Podcasts in the industry. The ability to travel within the US is a must.


Understanding of the IT/Cloud/Telecom is preferable but not essential, as training will be given – although proven success in B2B sales and overcoming objections is a must.


Successful candidates will have:

  • A passion for B2B sales with at least 5 years sales experience
  • An ethical sales approach
  • Proven record of achieving and exceeding sales goals
  • Demonstrated ability to build maintain relationships at an executive level and higher
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • The ability to organize a multi-faceted sales approach using the phone, social, and e-mail
  • Candidates must be proficient using the Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience with CRM programs is a plus

Generous base salary of circa $65,000 with OTE of $120,000.


Also as this is a subscription sale all renewals year on year are commissioned at the same level, allowing for a dynamic income increase each year.


Responsibilities:

  • Achieve monthly subscription sales targets
  • Maintain and increase subscription sales year on year
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision makers at multiple levels in target customer organizations
  • Use a consultative approach to overcoming obstacles and close business
