Insight Global is hiring an Infrastructure Engineer to support a large enterprise environment focused on vulnerability remediation and automation.
This is a hands-on, technical role centered around building scalable solutions that automatically detect, manage, and remediate security vulnerabilities across endpoints, identities, and applications. You’ll play a key role in improving security posture while reducing manual operational effort through automation.
What You’ll Do
- Design, build, and maintain automation solutions to remediate vulnerabilities at scale
- Administer and optimize endpoint management and patching using SCCM and Intune
- Implement identity and access controls using Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Active Directory, and M365
- Develop scripts (PowerShell and/or Python) to:
- Enforce configuration standards
- Remediate system drift
- Reduce manual processes
- Partner with cybersecurity teams to translate vulnerabilities into actionable technical fixes
- Support full software lifecycle management (patching, upgrades, decommissioning, access cleanup)
- Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and standards
- Track and improve KPIs around remediation speed, automation coverage, and system reliability
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex remediation issues and participate in root cause analysis
- Collaborate cross-functionally with infrastructure, security, and application teams
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure, Endpoint Management, or Identity Engineering
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- SCCM (Endpoint Configuration Manager)
- Intune
- Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
- Active Directory
- Microsoft 365 services
- Advanced scripting skills in PowerShell (Python is a plus)
- Experience with automation and remediation at enterprise scale
- Familiarity with REST APIs, SAML, SCIM, or identity integrations
- Working knowledge of SQL or data/reporting concepts
Nice to Have
- Experience supporting vulnerability management programs
- Exposure to AI-assisted tools for scripting or operational workflows
- Background in large-scale enterprise environments
- Experience with license management and access governance
