Our client based in Wall Township, NJ, is seeking a Technology Infrastructure Engineer to join their team on a contract-to-hire basis. Reporting directly to the CIO, this individual will have ownership of infrastructure engineering, execution, and daily IT operations. This is a hands-on technical role responsible for ensuring a secure, scalable, and reliable technology environment while supporting the organization's growth and operational needs.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in infrastructure engineering, systems administration, networking, cloud technologies, cybersecurity, and IT operations within a complex enterprise environment.

Schedule: Standard business hours with occasional overtime and weekend support as needed

Responsibilities
- Own and manage enterprise infrastructure engineering, implementation, and day-to-day operations.
- Design, deploy, maintain, and optimize infrastructure solutions to support business objectives.
- Administer and support Microsoft 365 E5 environments, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and related services.
- Manage server, storage, networking, and cloud infrastructure environments.
- Support and maintain cybersecurity platforms including Fortinet, Barracuda, and GoSecure solutions.
- Oversee incident management processes, ensuring timely resolution of infrastructure and operational issues.
- Manage relationships with outsourced IT vendors, service providers, and technology partners.
- Provide technical leadership for infrastructure projects, upgrades, migrations, and system implementations.
- Monitor system performance, availability, security, and capacity planning initiatives.
- Support and enhance enterprise voice and communications platforms, including RingCentral and PBX systems.
- Partner with Help Desk personnel to ensure effective escalation processes and end-user support.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure documentation, standards, and operational procedures.
- Assist with disaster recovery, business continuity, and security compliance initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience supporting enterprise infrastructure environments.
- Strong experience with: Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft 365 E5, Fortinet technologies, Barracuda solutions, DNS and DHCP administration, Windows Server environments, Enterprise networking concepts and troubleshooting, Cloud infrastructure and engineering & Incident management and operational support
- Experience managing third-party vendors and service providers.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices and infrastructure security.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex server, network, and cloud-related issues.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Experience supporting healthcare environments is highly preferred.

- Experience with GoSecure security solutions.
- Experience supporting RingCentral and PBX telephony platforms.
- Familiarity with compliance and regulatory requirements in healthcare environments.
- Experience leading infrastructure modernization and cloud initiatives.
