As an IT Specialist (Site Support Technician / IS Key User), you will serve as the primary on-site technology resource, ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of the facility's IT infrastructure and systems.
This hands-on role combines technical expertise with customer-focused support, requiring an individual who can quickly troubleshoot issues, maintain hardware and software systems, and partner with operational teams to deliver effective technology solutions. You will play a key role in supporting business continuity, enhancing user productivity, and helping drive operational excellence throughout the site.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO
Technical Support & System Administration
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot hardware, software, and peripheral devices, including desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, mobile devices, and warehouse technology equipment
- Provide first-level and second-level technical support to end users, resolving incidents and service requests efficiently and professionally
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, operating system, and network connectivity issues
- Support Microsoft Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office applications, and other business-critical software platforms
Site Technology Operation
- Serve as the primary IT/IS point of contact for the facility, ensuring the availability and reliability of technology systems
- Monitor and maintain local IT infrastructure, including workstations, network equipment, and site-specific technology solutions
- Coordinate with regional and corporate IT teams to escalate and resolve complex technical issues
- Assist with technology deployments, upgrades, patches, system implementations, and equipment replacements
Business Partnership & Continuous Improvement
- Collaborate with operational leadership and business users to understand technology needs and recommend practical solutions
- Support warehouse management systems (WMS), operational applications, and facility-specific technology platforms
- Identify opportunities to improve system performance, user experience, and operational efficiency
- Participate in technology-related projects, site initiatives, and continuous improvement activities
Compliance & Documentation
- Maintain accurate records of hardware inventory, software assets, configurations, and support activities
- Ensure compliance with company IT policies, cybersecurity standards, and data protection requirements
- Assist with user account management, access control, and technology security practices
- Create and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and standard operating procedures as needed
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FO
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or technical certification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred
- Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in IT support, help desk, desktop support, or a related technical role
- Experience supporting technology within a warehouse, manufacturing, distribution, or logistics environment is preferred
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365 application
- Understanding of computer hardware, software installation, and troubleshooting methodologies
- Basic networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, wireless connectivity, printers, and network device
- Experience supporting mobile devices, scanners, and peripheral equipment
- Familiarity with ticketing systems, asset management, and IT service management processes is preferred
