Job Title: Information Technology Project Manager

Our Client is seeking an experienced Project Manager II – Information Technology to lead and deliver complex IT initiatives within a structured PMO environment. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end project execution, ensuring alignment with business goals, and driving successful outcomes across enterprise-level implementations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end IT projects following established PMO methodologies and best practices
- Define and manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and resources
- Oversee multiple medium to large-scale projects, ensuring high-quality delivery and customer satisfaction
- Analyze and interpret business requirements, vendor SOWs, and project documentation
- Develop and maintain key project artifacts, including:
- Project Charter
- Detailed Project Plans
- Budget Trackers
- RACI matrices
- Status reports and executive presentations
- Establish and monitor critical path milestones, reporting progress to leadership and steering committees
- Identify risks, dependencies, and issues, and implement mitigation strategies
- Ensure compliance with PMO policies, governance standards, and audit requirements
- Facilitate planning and design sessions to clearly define scope and deliverables
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders for successful project execution
Training & Implementation Support
- Partner with training teams and vendors to ensure user readiness and successful system adoption
- Oversee creation and maintenance of user documentation and training materials
- Ensure end-user training and competency validation prior to go-live
- Support go-live readiness, including super-user enablement and ongoing support planning
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience in IT environments
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in IT project management
- Proven experience working on technology project teams and requirements gathering
- Strong understanding of project lifecycle, budgeting, and scheduling
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in large, multi-site or healthcare environments
- Experience with clinical system implementations (Epic, Meditech preferred)
- Background in clinical or healthcare settings (nice to have)
- PMP or PMI certification strongly preferred
