Title: Industrial Maintenance Tech

Location: Shelbyville, IN

Schedules: 1st shift (5am-4pm) 2nd (4pm-3am). They will start on 1st shift*

Days: swing shift. Monday-Friday one week, then Monday-Saturday next week, and back to Monday-Friday

Duration: 6 - month contract to hire

Overview:

One of our leading manufacturing clients is looking for maintenance mechanic to help increase production efficiency by monitoring and maintaining all manufacturing equipment. As a mechanic, you will be working on conveyors, pumps, motors, and capital projects within the facility. You will start on first shift and eventually swing to night shift if needed. It is important that this tech has the ability to hit the ground running while understanding processes and safety.

Day to Day:

• Meet with maintenance lead/supervisor for handoff reports and expectations for shift + morning safter meeting
• Preventative/corrective maintenance on all equipment like conveyors, steel flattening machines, and other manufacturing equipment
• Fabrication, welding, and troubleshooting of manufacturing and industrial equipment
• Prioritizing lockout/tagout
• Assembling equipment if needed

Must Haves:

• 5+ years of professional experience within mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Proficient with all basic tools and ability to troubleshoot
• Knowledge of maintenance for pumps, motors, conveyors, fabricated components, and other machines
• Any PLC experience is a plus

Compensation: Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
