Job Summary

A leading food manufacturing facility is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to support production operations by installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining electrical systems and industrial bakery equipment. This is a direct hire opportunity offering strong pay, stable hours, and the chance to work in a high-speed manufacturing environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, industrial machinery, and production equipment
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with motors, transformers, relays, sensors, and control systems
  • Perform PLC troubleshooting, including connecting, going online, and replacing I/O cards
  • Install wiring, conduit, and power supply systems for new and existing equipment
  • Perform preventative maintenance (PM) and complete work orders using CMMS/EAM systems
  • Replace faulty electrical components such as switches, motors, relays, and safety devices
  • Support instrumentation, packaging systems, and process control systems
  • Read and interpret blueprints, manuals, and technical documentation
  • Maintain and follow safety programs including Lockout/Tagout, Arc Flash, and confined space procedures
  • Assist with equipment changeovers to support production schedules
  • Train production staff on electrical safety and maintenance practices
  • Provide technical support to maintenance and continuous improvement teams


Required Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years of experience as an Industrial Electrician in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with electrical systems and industrial equipment
  • Experience working with PLC systems and electrical testing equipment
  • Knowledge of electrical codes and safety standards, including Arc Flash safety
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in food manufacturing or large-scale bakery environments
  • Familiarity with food safety standards and audit requirements
  • Technical or vocational training in electrical systems
  • Licensed or Master Electrician certification
  • Experience working with vendors and contractors
