About the Role
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Retrofit Foreman to lead commercial retrofit projects throughout the Phoenix area. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who can manage crews, coordinate installations, maintain quality standards, and ensure projects are completed safely and on schedule.
The ideal candidate has strong field experience, leadership skills, and a solid understanding of retrofit installations, ductwork, startup, troubleshooting, and project coordination.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise HVAC retrofit crews on job sites
- Oversee installation of commercial HVAC systems
- Coordinate project schedules, materials, and manpower
- Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications
- Ensure all work meets local code and company quality standards
- Troubleshoot installation issues and provide technical guidance
- Maintain job site safety and enforce OSHA compliance
- Communicate effectively with project managers, vendors, and customers
- Complete daily reports and project documentation
Qualifications
- 5+ years of HVAC installation experience
- Previous foreman or crew leadership experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of retrofit applications and HVAC systems
- Experience with ductwork, split systems, package units, RTUs, and controls
- Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings
- EPA Certification required
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Strong communication and leadership skills
