As the Commercial HVAC Foreman you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the installation of commercial HVAC systems on construction projects. This position provides leadership to field crews, ensures work is completed safely and efficiently, maintains quality standards, and coordinates with project managers, general contractors, subcontractors, and customers to deliver projects on time and within budget.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (Partial list):


FIELD LEADERSHIP & SUPERVISION:

  • Provide supervision for HVAC installers, sheet metal mechanics, pipefitters, and apprentices.
  • Plan daily and weekly work activities to meet project schedules.
  • Assign tasks and monitor crew productivity.
  • Mentor, train, and develop field personnel.


PROJECT EXECUTION:

  • Review construction drawings, specifications, submittals, and schedules.
  • Coordinate installations
  • Verify installations comply with plans, specifications, local codes, and company standards.
  • Identify and resolve field conflicts and installation challenges.
  • Managing project schedule with prospective project manager.
  • Assist in on-the-job training for crew members.


SAFETY MANAGEMENT:

  • Enforce company safety policies and OSHA requirements.
  • Conduct jobsite safety meetings and toolbox talks.
  • Ensure proper use of PPE and safe work practices.
  • Report and document incidents, near misses, and hazards.


REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5+ years of commercial HVAC installation experience.
  • 2+ years of field leadership or foreman experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC equipment, ductwork, piping, and controls.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and shop drawings.
  • Working knowledge of local building codes and OSHA regulations.
