Skills Required

Primary (Must-Have):

• Minimum 2 years of experience with HR systems including Employee Central, SuccessFactors, Workday, or related platforms

• Minimum 2 years of experience with Jira ticket management

• Minimum 2 years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

• Hands-on experience with SuccessFactors Employee Central

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume data entry accurately

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to manage HR records and employee databases efficiently

• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

Secondary (Good to Have):

• Associate degree or relevant HR coursework

• Experience supporting onboarding and pre-boarding activities

• Experience handling HR helpdesk inquiries and employee support

• Knowledge of I-9 verification and re-verification processes

• Experience supporting operational excellence and process improvement initiatives


Position Overview

The HR Specialist 1 will support local Human Resources operations by maintaining employee data integrity, processing HR helpdesk inquiries, and supporting onboarding activities. This role requires hands-on experience with HR systems including SuccessFactors Employee Central, strong administrative skills, and the ability to manage HR records accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional support to employees and HR teams while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.


Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to the Human Resources function across multiple operational areas

• Maintain employee databases, HR records, and prepare reports with high accuracy

• Support employee data maintenance and monitoring within HR systems

• Serve as the first point of contact for HR-related inquiries and employee concerns

• Perform initial triage of HR issues including absence management, accommodations, health concerns, conduct, and organizational changes

• Maintain clear communication channels and proper documentation for HR and employee matters

• Support pre-boarding preparation and onboarding activities to ensure a positive employee experience

• Process HR transactions related to new hires, status changes, performance evaluations, benefits, and terminations

• Perform I-9 verification, I-9 re-verification, and onsite onboarding support

• Respond to HR Helpdesk inquiries by providing guidance, resources, and support to employees

• Maintain a service-focused and user-oriented approach while supporting operational excellence initiatives

• Collaborate closely with the local Human Resources team to support day-to-day HR operations

• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
