Pay: $22-25/hour


Position Overview

PAI Pharma is seeking a detail-oriented and people-focused Human Resources Intern to support key HR operations and employee experience initiatives. This internship offers hands-on exposure to core HR functions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The intern will play a critical role in maintaining accurate employee records while also contributing to the enhancement of onboarding and orientation programs designed to create a “best-in-class” employee experience rooted in care, consistency, and clarity.


Key Responsibilities

• Organize and maintain employee personnel files, ensuring accuracy and compliance

• Assist with documentation including:

o Background checks

o I-9 forms

o Onboarding paperwork

o Disciplinary records

o Benefits documentation

• Support efforts to improve data integrity and recordkeeping processes

• Ensure all documentation meets compliance and regulatory standards

• Assist HR team with administrative and operational tasks as needed


Key Projects

• Support enhancements to the new hire onboarding and orientation experience

• Help develop tools and materials that promote:

o Accuracy

o Simplicity

o Consistency

o Timeliness

• Contribute to initiatives focused on creating a welcoming and supportive employee experience


Learning Objectives

Through this internship, the selected candidate will:

• Gain hands-on experience in core HR operations and compliance

• Learn best practices for employee record management and documentation

• Develop an understanding of onboarding strategy and employee experience design

• Build skills in process improvement and HR systems

• Experience how HR supports both employees and business operations in a manufacturing environment


Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)


Preferred Qualifications

• Prior administrative or HR-related experience

• Interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources
