Assignment Type: Contract to Hire

Compensation: $31 - $36 / hour

Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Position Overview

Provides broad human resources support across recruiting, employee relations, compliance, benefits administration, and day‑to‑day HR operations. Partners with leadership and employees to ensure effective people processes, compliance, and a positive employee experience.

Core Responsibilities

  • Manages full‑cycle recruitment efforts, including sourcing, interviewing, candidate evaluation, and hiring coordination with leadership.
  • Oversees onboarding and orientation activities to support successful employee integration.
  • Serves as a point of contact for employee benefit inquiries, including insurance plans and retirement programs, and assists with enrollments and updates.
  • Supports employee relations initiatives by providing coaching, guidance, and participation in corrective or disciplinary processes as needed.
  • Participates in investigations, terminations, and conflict resolution meetings, applying sound judgment and professionalism.
  • Ensures HR policies and practices align with applicable federal, state, and local employment regulations.
  • Performs routine HR administrative functions, including maintaining records, processing updates, and supporting performance management activities.
  • Tracks employee timekeeping, leave balances, and schedule changes to ensure accurate reporting.
  • Coordinates employee engagement initiatives such as appreciation efforts, recognition activities, and internal events.
  • Supports workplace safety efforts through documentation, recordkeeping, and assistance with incident investigations.
  • Assists with workers’ compensation claims, incident tracking, and related follow‑up activities.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Prior experience managing full‑cycle recruiting processes from intake through offer.
  • Hands‑on experience across core HR functions such as onboarding, benefits administration, employee retention, performance reviews, and interviewing.
  • Experience working with HRIS platforms to manage employee data and HR processes.
