**Job Title: HR Director (Greenfield Community Launch)**
**Location: Lakewood Ranch / South Bradenton, FL area**
**Compensation: $130,000+ base (DOE) + Annual Bonus**
Our client is a national leader in luxury senior living and healthcare, currently preparing for the grand opening of a massive, state-of-the-art continuing care retirement community (CCRC) in the Lakewood Ranch area. This 40+ acre campus is set to become a premier destination, eventually serving over 1,500 residents across independent living and various levels of clinical care.
We are seeking a high-energy **Human Resources Director** to serve as a vital member of the executive launch team. This is a rare opportunity to build a culture from the ground up, overseeing the full HR lifecycle for a large, diverse workforce in a brand-new, luxury environment.
### **The Role**
As the HR Director, you will move beyond administrative tasks to act as a strategic business partner. You will be responsible for the "people strategy" of this new community, ensuring that as the doors open, the team is engaged, high-performing, and aligned with the company's gold-standard values.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* **Strategic Leadership:** Partner with the Executive Director and department heads to lead workforce planning, talent management, and succession strategies.
* **Culture Building:** Design and implement engagement and recognition initiatives that make the community an "Employer of Choice" in the Florida market.
* **Employee Relations:** Manage complex ER matters with a focus on fairness, inclusion, and maintaining a positive work climate.
* **Performance Management:** Establish a culture of accountability and professional growth through robust coaching and development programs.
* **Operational Oversight:** Lead an HR team and manage regional HR initiatives, ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations.

### **Qualifications**
* **Experience:** At least 7 years of progressive HR management experience.
* **Leadership:** Proven track record as an HR Business Partner or Director managing a team and supporting diverse business lines (exempt and non-exempt staffing).
* **Expertise:** Deep knowledge of leadership development, performance management, and organizational change.
* **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field preferred; SHRM/HRCI certification is a plus.
* **Industry:** Experience in hospitality, healthcare, or large-scale service environments is highly preferred.
